When will my order be shipped?
Every order will be processed for shipping the next business day at 1:30 am PST. Every order will ship the day it is processed.
For example: If your order is placed Monday through Thursday it will be shipped the following day (barring holidays). If your order is placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, it will be shipped on the following business day.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.
You may make any updates or changes to your order before 12 midnight PST the day the order is placed.
If you need Samovar to update your order, any requests for changes must be received befor 5pm PST the day your order is placed. Once the order is processed for shipping, we cannot make any more changes to the order.
How do I know that my order has been shipped?
When your order has been shipped, we will send you an e-mail with your tracking number.
What’s the status of my order? How do I track my order?
Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status at any time. To track your order from this page, click here to log in to your account, then click on “Review orders/ track packages.”
Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.
Will my credit card be charged immediately?
No. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped. When you place an order, you will immediately receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped (at which time we will have charged your credit card).
Why should I become a registered user?
QUICK CHECKOUT: Super fast and easy checkout process since all of your info is already saved.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Is tea really tax free?
Yes. Thanks to the Boston Tea Party, tea is tax free. However, all the other products we sell are taxable. Currently, we only collect sales tax on tea ware or tea sets that contain tea ware for orders shipped to California.
What’s the difference between “Order Date” and “Ship Date”?
On most websites, “Order Date” and “Ship Date” are not the same. For example, if you place an order any time on Friday, your package will not ship until after the weekend. Although most orders are shipped within two days, please take weekends and holidays into account when calculating the shipping date.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to about 60 countries around the world. Please see the list in the Shipping Rates Calculation section of your shopping cart.
Unfortunately, at this time, the shipping rates to international addresses are prohibitively high. While we are currently providing the option of shipping via UPS, we are working to source more affordable methods for international shipping.
Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Unfortunately, we do not. The shipping carriers we use, do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
What is your privacy policy?
At times we use third-party companies to help us serve targeted product recommendations. These companies may use data about you in order to provide recommendations for products and services that might be of interest to you. I have questions about tea.
If you want to learn about tea, this is the place to come. We have collected all sorts of info about tea in both video and written form. What is your return Policy?
We want you to be totally satisfied with your order, however for safety reasons, we can only accept returns of unused tea ware and cannot accept returns of tea.
If you are unsatisfied with your tea, please contact us at samovarlife@samovarlife.com and we will work with you to select the right tea for you palate and pleasure.
For returns of tea ware, please contact us and we will provide you with a return authorization code. Send us an email at samovarlife@samovarlife.com and we’ll respond with an authorization code and a return address. Then, please securely re-package your unused tea ware and send it to the provided address. Once we receive the return, we will refund the cost of the returned item. Please allow 2 weeks for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.

We will not accept unauthorized returns.
